Tashmaydan park in Belgrade

Tashmaydan park is one of the most famous places in the capital of Serbia.

Saltpeter mines were located in this place during in the times of the Ottoman Empire.

In 2010, park was reconstructed thanks to financial support of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It was opened in 2011 with participation of Ilham Aliyev. At the same time, monuments to former Azerbaijani President Heydar Aliyev and famous writer Milorad Pavic were opened there.
