7,000 people to secure elections in Dagestan

Approximately 7,000 law enforcement officers will ensure order and security at the elections in the republic of Dagestan on the 13th of March, RIA Novosti reports the Interior Minister of Dagestan, Abdurashid Magomedov, as saying on Thursday .

The elections of the deputies to the National Assembly of the fifth convocation of Dagestan will take place on the 13th of March, as well as elections of local authorities in 23 municipalities. Magomedov also noted that about 1,500 additional officers will be ready to assist in the elections.
