Kremlin Spokesman Confirms Putin-Pashinyan Meeting On September 8

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin would meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Saturday, UrduPoint reported citing local media.

On Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the meeting between Putin and Pashinyan would take place soon.

Armenian media called September 8 as a possible date of the visit.

Peskov told the Izvestiya newspaper that the top-level talks would be held on September 8 in the Moscow Kremlin.

That will be the third Pashinyan's visit to Russia since he became prime minister of Armenia as a result of the spring protests across the country.
