Magnitude 5.9 quake occurs off Ecuador coast

A magnitude 5.9 earthquake has occurred off the coast of Ecuador, News.am reported citing the United States Geological Survey.

The seismic activity was recorded on Monday at 11:37pm UTC, 541km northeast of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno town.

The hypocenter of this quake was at a 10.4km depth.

There is no information about possible casualties and devastations.
