Azerbaijan have been held to a 1-1 draw by Malta in the Group 3 League D match of the UEFA Nations League.

Rowen Muscat scored in the 37th minute to put Malta ahead at Baku Olympic Stadium.

Azerbaijan's Araz Abdullayev leveled the score in the 53rd minute, AzerTAc reported.

Azerbaijan ranks second in the group with 6 points, behind Malta that have 8 points.
