Two new ministers were appointed in Armenia. Armenian President Armen Sarkisyan signed the decrees appointing Gegham Gevorgyan as agriculture minister and Tigran Khachatryan as economic development and investments minister.

On October 2, after three parties’ lawmakers in a bid to retain their seats in the National Assembly passed a bill hobbling dismissal of the parliament, Armenian Prime Minster Nikol Pashinyan called on people to come to the area outside the parliament building. Immediately after that call people flooded the entire Baghramyan Avenue.

At that rally, the premier informed people about the dismissal of the ministers. Later, ministers were appointed to four of these six vacant positions and yesterday the two remaining appointments were confirmed, ARKA recalls.
