Members of Russian delegation praised VI International Humanitarian Forum in Baku

Russia and Azerbaijan are actively developing tourism cooperation, which is confirmed by the growth of tourist flow to Azerbaijan and Russia, Russian Deputy Prime Minister for Culture, Sports and Tourism Olga Golodets told reporters in Baku. She said that over the past year, 900,000 tourists from Azerbaijan visited Russia, and the number of tourists from Russia, who visited Azerbaijan, was 750,000, Trend reports.
In addition, several members of Russian delegation spoke about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Member of Lower House of Russian Parliament Dmitry Savelyev said the Nagorno Karabakh and seven adjacent regions should be returned to Azerbaijan without any preconditions. He noted that the Azerbaijani diaspora needs to increase the intensity of activity in the media sphere in order to convey objective information about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Russian journalist, military expert, editor-in-chief of the National Defense magazine Igor Korotchenko told Trend that as long as acting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan does not deal with the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, Armenia’s economy will be in the same state as it is now and there will be no improvement. Pashinyan will not be able to fulfill his main promise regarding the fight against corruption and the improvement of the living standards of the Armenian population,Korotchenko said.
