China to open jacket-making factory in Georgia's Tkibuli

A new jacket-making factory will be opened in Georgia's Tkibuli soon to make top quality jackets for local as well as international markets, the Georgian government said.

As announced, the factory will produce jackets for world famous brands. The total cost of the project is $5 million and the new factory will employ about 300 people at the first stage.

The signing ceremony of the outline agreement on the jacket factory project was held today in Shanghai, where Georgia's Partnership Fund and China's Jiangxi Huazhao Enterprise management have signed a deal, Agenda.ge reported.

Georgia's Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze also attended the ceremony and later he talked about Georgia’s attractive investment environment and highlighted the importance of the free trade agreements signed between Georgia and China.
