Russia's Finance Ministry announces another foreign currency purchase record

Russia's Finance Ministry will increase its daily purchases of foreign currency for state reserves to the equivalent of 25 billion rubles between November 8 and December 6, the ministry's press service said.

The ministry said that total purchases for the upcoming period will be equivalent to 525.8 billion rubles, which is a new record. The last one was set a month ago - $475 billion rubles.

Russia's additional revenues from oil and gas sales are expected at 513.8 billion rubles in November.
