Russia and Saudi Arabia discussing oil production cuts?

 

Russia and Saudi Arabia have started bilateral discussions over possible 2019 oil production cuts, TASS news agency reported, citing an unnamed source at the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries.

According to the source, the cuts were proposed by Saudi Arabia.

Earlier today, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak noted that the oil market remains well balanced.
