At least 13 people killed in Tajik prison riot

Tajikistan's security forces have killed at least 13 inmates at a prison in the city of Khujand where a riot broke out yesterday evening, three security sources said.

The city government confirmed there had been a riot, but provided no other information, Reuters reported.
