NASA chief and Russian ambassador discuss space cooperation

NASA chief Jim Bridenstine said he had met with Russia’s ambassador to the U.S. Anatoly Antonov at the agency’s headquarters yesterday to discuss bilateral space cooperation.

"I was pleased to host Russian Federation Ambassador Anatoly Antonov today for a courtesy meeting here at NASA Headquarters to discuss the important space cooperation between our two countries," Bridenstine said in a Twitter post.

The Russian embassy also confirmed the meeting in a media statement. "During the conversation, prospects for Russian-American space interaction were discussed. Both sides emphasized the mutually beneficial nature of the cooperation between NASA and Roscosmos," the statement reads.
