EU says no credible alternative to JCPOA exists

The is no credible peaceful alternative to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the European Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality Vera Jourova said during a plenary session of the European Parliament.

"There is no credible peaceful alternative to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. The deal with Iran is a key element of the global nuclear non-proliferation architecture," Sputnik cited her as saying.

Jourova added that preserving the Iran nuclear deal was a matter of security for the whole global community.
