Armenia’s GDP increases by 5.5%

According to the Armenian National Statistical Service, Armenia’s GDP increased in January-March 2010 by 5.5% in comparison with the same period in 2009.  GDP per capita made up nearly $455 (€329) in most branches of the economy, excepting construction.

However, official unemployment as of the end of March increased 7.2%.
