Turkey destroys more than 10 PKK terrorists in northern Iraq

The Turkish Air Force has killed 14 terrorists in northern Iraq as part of the operation against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists.

In a Twitter post, Turkish General Staff said its jets pounded PKK terrorists in the Hakurk, Avasin-Basyan, Gara, Haftanin, and Metina regions.

According to the post, shelters belonging to the terror group were also destroyed in the airstrikes, Anadolu Agency reported.

Earlier, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said that 87,838 operations have been carried out against the PKK this year, during which 289 PKK terrorists were killed.
