Russia's Medvedev meets with Turkish Prime Minister

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed issues of economic cooperation between the two countries on Tuesday, particularly in the energy sphere, the Kremlin press service said.

Medvedev and Erdogan also discussed regional issues such as the situation in Iraq and the Middle East in general.

On Wednesday, Medvedev and Erdogan will continue their talks at a meeting of the Cooperation Council Summit between Russia and Turkey.
