Armenia's government authorized the 2018-2022 master plan for Zvartnots and Shirak international airports of Yerevan and Gyumri.

The plan was presented today at the Cabinet's meeting by acting Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Hakob Arshakyan.

In line with this master plan, around $38.2 million investments are planned to be made, News.am reported.

As a result, it is expected to ensure the International Civil Aviation Organization safety standards at these airports, have their capacity correspond to the expected increase in passenger flow, reach the International Air Transport Association Level of Service 'C', and make the security level at these airports meet the new international standards.
