Schools, universities closed in Bahrain

Yesterday the government of Bahrain imposed emergency situation in the country because of ongoing riots. Today the authorities ordered the closure of all schools and universities, RIA Novosti reports.

Earlier on Wednesday in Manama an anti-government demonstration was dispersed by the police. The main square of Manama was cleaned of demonstrators. Tear gas was used.

According to the opposition, two participants of the rally were killed, and several dozens were hurt.
