One dead as car and passenger van crash in Armenia’s Kotayk

One person has died and several others are injured after a major road accident in Armenia's Kotayk Province.

Today, at 12:15pm, the 911 emergency hotline received a report that a car and a passenger van had crashed on the Yerevan-Ashtarak motorway.

Four people had sustained injuries and were taken to a hospital in Yerevan, but later the medical center reported that one of the injured had died.

Those who assembled at the scene of the accident said the passenger van was parked, when the car had collided with it, Shamshyan.com reported.
