Azerbaijani president meets Ukrainian defense minister

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation headed by the Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Yezhel, 1news.az reports.

The sides emphasized the development of ties between the two countries in various spheres, including the military.

They noted the role of Yezhemel’s visit to Azerbaijan to improve cooperation.

Defense Minister General-Colonel Safar Abiyev and Yezhemel held a meeting today, Trend cites the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

Abiyev said that one of their goals is improvement of the partnership. They also talked about military-technical cooperation and the situation in the region.
