Supreme judge of Ingushetia reinstated

The decision on the dismissal of a Supreme Judge of Ingushetia, Magomed Daurbekov, has been found to be unjust, Yuga.ru reports.

The judge was accused of an inhumane decision about a convict who died in detention and illegal elections to the council of judges. Daurbekov said that his dismissal is related to judges speaking out against the authorities.

Daurbekov’s case was considered by six judges (three arbitrary and three supreme judges), chaired by Alexey Chistyakov.

A spokesman for the Ingush Supreme Court, Yakov Mestoyev, expressed his reasons for the dismissal. The judges closed the case by holding the dismissal invalid.
