South Ossetia completes restoration
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaSouth Ossetia has concluded the complex plan for restoring the republic. 9.61 billion rubles were spent, Russian Deputy Minister for Regional Development Roman Panov, superviser of the inter-departmental commission for restoring South Ossetia, said, Yuga.ru reports.
The plan consisted of almost 900 facilities and events, with the final version consisting of 800.
252 out of 322 individual houses were constructed in mid-February. 212 of them are now occupied, Edward Kokoity said. The program is planned to be completed in the first quarter of the year.
Panov said that there were 280 multi-apartment houses on the list. 57 had undergone major renovations. There are two plans: the major renovation of 100 houses or the minor renovation of 280. The second plan was implemented. 100 houses had roofs repaired.
Over 3,000 houses remain damaged. 700 houses cannot be repaired.
