Azerbaijani president starts constructing new airport complex in Baku

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has taken part in founding a new airport complex at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Trend cites Aliyev’s website.

President of the company “Azerbaijan Khava Yollary”, Jakhangir Askerov, informed Aliyev that the complex will cover 58,000 square meters and will have advanced equipment. It will receive 3 million people annually.

Ilham Aliyev observed the stands and viewed the capital renovation. He met the airport staff and construction workers and gave them orders and instructions.
