The Syrian Foreign Ministry handed over two letters to the UN Secretary-General and Security Council Chairman after the international coalition airstrikes of the village of Baguz-Tahtani in the south-east of Deir ez-Zor province, as a result of which 20 civilians died, including women and children. The relevant message was published at the official Facebook account of the ministry.

The ministry condemned the "continued attacks on civilians performed by the international coalition" and their damage to the infrastructure.
