Police prevents terrorist attack in Turkey

A terrorist attack was prevented in Turkey's southeastern Mardin province.

Turkish security forces have seized 150 kilograms of explosives during an operation against the terrorist PKK group in Mardin province,  Mardin governor's office said in a statement.

The operation was conducted in the Harmankaya neighborhood of Omerli district, Anadolu Agency reported.

An improvised explosive device was also seized during the operation.
