Explosion rocks Russian embassy in Damascus

A car bomb exploded today in the al-Adawi district of Damascus, located close to the Russian Embassy.

"The explosion took place near a security branch in the south of the city," Express cited the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) as saying.

According to SANA, it was a "terrorist explosion". But Syrian TV said there were no casualties as a result of the blast, only damage.
