Ukraine's state debt grows by $2bln in 2018

Ukraine's total state debt increased by $2 billion last year to $3.56 billion, according to the website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance.

In the national currency the state debt rose by 2.17% or UAH 46.15 billion, to UAH 2.169 trillion.

"In 2018, the total state and state-guaranteed debt increased by $2.02 billion, or by 2.46%," the ministry said, noting that it reached $78.32 billion by the end of 2018.

The ministry also reported that the public debt increased by $1.22 billion in a year, Gazeta.ru reported.
