Connection with 100 Turkish villages interrupted due to snowfall

The connection with about 100 villages in eastern Turkey has also been interrupted due to snowfall continuing since yesterday evening.

In addition, the lessons have been canceled at schools and universities in 159 settlements in eastern Turkey.

On February  8, lessons were cancelled at schools and universities in two districts of Turkey’s Kahramanmaras province due to heavy snowfall.

Reportedly, the thickness of the snow cover in two districts of the province reaches 0.5 meters.
