Armenian economic activity improves

Armenian economic activity improved 1.4% in February 2011 compared to the same month in 2010, News Armenia cites the National Statistics Service of Armenia.

Economic activity grew 3.7% in February compared to January.

Consumer prices rose 12.4% compared to the same period in 2010. Prices for industrial products increased by 15.4% compared to February 2010.

Armenia produced industrial goods worth 69 billion drams, an increase of 2.6% compared to February 2010.

Armenia's foreign trade level reached $364.5 million, a rise of 12.4% compared to February 2010.

The state budget expects a 4.6% GDP growth in 2011.
