Putin condemns USA for lack of logic and good conscience

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is concerned with the ease of the USA's decision to use force in the international arena, RIA Novosti reports.

The premier said in Votkinsk that US policy is turning into a tendency.

He noted that the presidency of Bill Clinton involved the bombing of Belgrade and that of George W.Bush involved Afghanistan and Iraq. Now it is Libya, with the excuse of protecting the civilian population. "Where is logic and good conscience? There is neither the first nor the second," Putin said.

The prime minister said that Muammar Gaddafi's ruling does not meet the criteria of democracy, nor allows other countries to intervene in internal affairs.

Putin called the UN resolution defective and compared it to a Medieval Crusade.
