Valentina Tereshkova: it's just impossible not to love Azerbaijan!

Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Federal System and Issues of Local Self-Government, legendary cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova, speaking with correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza, stressed that it is impossible not to love Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani people.

"Who doesn’t love Azerbaijan?! Name at least one person! It is a beautiful, as before, country now," she said in the first place.

"I am glad that there is a mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, not to mention cultural ties, which enrich both Russia and Azerbaijan," Valentina Tereshkova stressed.

"So many friends we have there, so many famous singers! It is impossible not to love this country and people. Simply impossible!" the legendary cosmonaut concluded, expressing regret that she cannot travel to Azerbaijan as often as she'd like.
