Turkey discusses with US purchase of Russia’s S-400

Yesterday, the meeting of the acting US Secretary of Defense, Patrick Shanahan, and the Minister of National Defense of Turkey, Hulusi Akar, took place. The relevant message posted on the Pentagon website.

As noted in the statement, in the framework of the conversation, the heads of departments discussed the operation against ISIS (the terrorist organisation banned in the Russian Federation) in Syria, and the US fears over the potential Turkish purchase of Russia’s S-400 missiles, TASS reports.
