U.S. spy plane conducts reconnaissance close to Crimea

The U.S. maritime patrol aircraft conducted reconnaissance near the coast of the Crimean peninsula - Sevastopol and the Kerch Strait.

The P-8A Poseidon reconnaissance plane with the tail number 168848 took off from the military base at Sigonella, Sicily at 16:25 Moscow time on February 24. 

The plane cruised in the specified area for about 3 hours, Gazeta.ru reported.
