Armenian parliament considers gas supplies
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe parliament of Armenia will hold hearings on gas supplies on March 30. An expert of the Dashnaktsutyun Party, Ashot Yegiazaryan, said that there are a lot of questions that need answers, such as gas quality for Armenian consumers, NEWS.am reports.
There are also doubts regarding the reasons for the high prices for gas. Armenians pay the same sum for gas as citizens in Western Europe do.
Yegiazaryan underlined that the problems had forced his party to organize a temporary parliamentary commission to study gas supplies. The expert said that Armenian citizens pay $240 per 1000 cubic meters.
