Bahrain closes air traffic with Iran, Lebanon

The authorities of Bahrain have closed air traffic with Iran and Lebanon until March 31 due to protests by Shia Muslims, Reuters reports.

The Lebanese Shia organization Hezbollah supported anti-government protests in Bahrain. Iran, where most residents are Shia, supports Hezbollah.

The decision was made after “irresponsible” statements by Lebanon about the situation in Bahrain.
