Kim Tong-op: South Korean gymnasts pleased with everything at Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe South Korean national team is pleased with everything at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku, Ambassador of South Korea to Azerbaijan Kim Tong-op said, speaking with Vestnik Kavkaza on the sidelines of the sports event.
"I am very grateful to the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation for inviting me. I came to this wonderful stadium for such a representative tournament for the first time. I just spoke with the athletes of our country, and they told me that they were pleased with Baku’s hospitality and the competition's conditions. So do I," the ambassador stressed.
"Basically, I asked our gymnasts about the facilities provided by the organizers, whether they have any problems, whether they are satisfied with the arena. They all said that everything is great and they have no problems. They have very good impressions from Baku and the tournament. I'm very pleased about it," Kim Tong-op added.
"From what I’ve seen, I can tell that the arena is indeed very comfortable. The stadium is remarkable. I don’t see any flaws in it," the South Korean ambassador to Azerbaijan concluded.
The FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on March 14-17. According to the new rules, the World Cup is a qualifying event for Tokyo-2020 Summer Olympic Games. 170 gymnasts from 41 countries will contest medals at the tournament.
