Turkey warns against inter-ethnic tensions in Bahrain

Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmet Davutoglu has called for measures to be taken to prevent inter-ethnic clashes in Bahrain, RIA Novosti reports.

Bahrain introduced a state of emergency on March 15, the King of Bahrain announced exposure of a conspiracy on March 21.

The Turkish minister made his statement on Twitter. He expressed his position prior to the visit of Halid bin Ahmed bin Muhammed al-Khalifa to Ankara.

Turkey urged Bahrain to hold mass reforms and promote public concensus.
