North Ossetia starts constructing Caucasus Musical and Cultural Center

The capital of North Ossetia has started constructing the Caucasus Musical and Cultural Center. Some 600 million rubles were provided from the federal budget for the cause, Interfax reports.


The North Ossetian leader and the art director of the Mariinski Theater, Valery Gergiyev, discussed cultural projects in the North Caucasian Federal District. The meeting was held at the office of South Ossetia under the Russian president in Moscow.


The center will be built according to a project of the famous architect Norman Foster.
