Tokayev orders to increase wages for Kazakh state employees sooner
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaPresident of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ordered to increase wages for state employees one month earlier than initially planned.
According to Tokayev, wages for low-paid state workers will be increased from June 1, 2019.
"This decision will directly impact lives of more than 1 million public and state employees," he wrote on Twitter.
Earlier, Kazakh first president Nursultan Nazarbayev ruled to increase salaries by 30% starting from July 1, 2019 and allocated $2.58 billion for that purpose.
