Those affected by Tbilisi gas explosion to be accommodated

Tbilisi authorities will accommodate those affected by the gas explosion in Tbilisi’s Digomi district.

Eight people, including a seven-month-old child have been injured in the explosion yesterday. The explosion happened on the fourth floor of a five-storey residential building, allegedly because of a gas leak.

An investigation is looking into violations of safety procedures, Agenda.ge reported.

Georgia's Healthcare Minister Davit Sergeenko said the health condition of the injured is are "average”.  According to the minister, they have been taken to different hospitals and doctors are sparing no efforts to help them recover.
