Kazakh President to visit Uzbekistan

President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev will make his first state visit to Uzbekistan on April 14-15.

He is expected to discuss with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev relevant issues of bilateral cooperation aimed at further enhancement of trade, economic, social, humanitarian, transit, transport cooperation, as well as key regional and international issues.

Several important documents will be signed, Akorda reports.

In addition, Tokayev and Mirziyoyev will attend the opening ceremony marking start of the Year of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan.
