Turkish police detains ISIS terrorists in Turkey's Izmir

Twelve militants of the ISIS terrorist group (banned in Russia) were detained during a special operation conducted by the provincial police in the country's Izmir province.

The operation to detain terrorists was carried out in three locations in Izmir. 

It was noted that all detainees are Turkish citizens. Firearms were also seized during the operation, Turkish media reported.
