Lukashenko proposes to update Constitution and hold early parliamentary elections

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that parliamentary elections should be held later this year and that the Constitution should be updated.

Speaking at his state-of-the-nation address, the Belarusian head of state proposed to hold parliamentary elections in November 2019.

Lukashenko also said that the country's presidential elections would be held in 2020 as planned, TASS reported.
