Sargsyan praises relations between Iran and Armenia

Relations between Armenia and Iran are exemplary, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said at the opening of Nowruz events in Tehran, News Armenia reports.

The president congratulated the Iranian religious leader, president and everyone present, heads of other states and the Iranian people on the holiday.

Sargsyan reminded that Armenia adopted Christianity as state religion in 301 and that Easter is the main religious holiday in Armenia. Sargsyan pointed out the similarities of certain traditions.
