Resident of Stavropol suspected of killing baby

An infant became a victim of a parental quarrel in the Stavropol Territory on May 2,  the press service of the regional office of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reports.

A criminal case was instituted under the article ”Child murder”. The suspect is the father of the dead girl.

The investigation established that on May 2, in the village of Beshpagir, after a quarrel with his wife, the suspect  several times stabbed his 8-month-old daughter with a knife. "The child died at the scene,”  the investigative department reports.
