Special operation concluded at Ingush village

Police have killed a militant in a special operation at the Verkhny Alkun village in Ingushetia, RIA Novosti cites a local police source as saying.

Aslan Tsechoyev, born in 1978, was convicted earlier for arms and ammo trafficking.

The militant opened fire from a building on Severnya Street. The police evacuated two women and two children. The militant refused to surrender. There is also unconfirmed information on another militant.
