French air forces bombed the command center of Gaddafi near Tripoli, the spokesman for the Joint Staff Thierry Byurkar said, Trend reports.

He added that the French forces have not yet launched any attacks on Monday. During the last few days, the French Air Forces and Navy have been concentrating on the urban areas of Misrata and Zintan.

The protests, demanding the resignation of the country's leader, Muammar Gaddafi, started in Libya on February 19. The UN Security Council adopted a resolution calling for the establishment of a no-fly zone over Libya on March, 17 and for a foreign military operation against the forces of al-Gaddafi.
