All avalanche-prone regions will receive special equipment to prevent avalanches

All avalanche-prone regions will receive anti-avalanche equipment next
year, Russian Minister of Emergency Situations Sergey Shoygu said on
Tuesday, RIA Novosti reports.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations is already receiving equipment to
put out fires using carbon dioxide, and heavy robot machinery. Shoygu
hopes that they will be useful for Rosatom in atomic energy
facilities. He added that a lot of equipment is sent to the ministry
for early detection of radioactive and chemical substances.
