Armenia restores Internet access
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaAn accident in Georgia left Armenia without Internet access on Monday evening, and access was restored in midnight, News Armenia reports.
The cable break in Georgia left Armenian providers ArmenTel, FiberNet Communication and GNC-Alfa without international Internet access, only reserve servers were operating. Georgia did not announce the causes of the crash.
Georgia is the main access of Armenia to Internet. An alternate link is available through Iran.
There have been at least 8 Internet crashes in Georgia within two months last year. The latest crash was the most serious.
