Georgia presents tourism potential in Odessa

Georgia presented its tourism potential at its General Consulate in Odessa on Mariinskaya Street, 4, on March 28, Business Georgia reports.


The Georgian National Agency for Tourism was a co-organizer of the presentation.


Georgia was represented by the General Consul in Odessa Zurab Kvachadze, deputy head of the Georgian National Agency for Tourism Beka Jakeli, Director General of Concord Travel Giorgi Parulava, Assistant Director General of Concord Travel Ani Lipartia.


Ukraine was represented by the chairman of the commission for tourism, development of recreation complex and international links of the Odessa City Council Yuri Shestakov, Director of the AeroSwit office in Odessa Vitaly Portyanko, Director of the Shabo communications company Tatyana Ponomarenko, assistant deputy chairman of the Odessa regional administration Lyudmila Kolcheva.


A photo presentation was held by a guide of the Wine Culture Center Shabo Artyom Ukrainchuk. Beka Jakeli presented the tourism potential. Ani Lipartia presented the Concord Travel Company.


Tasting of Georgian meals and wine was also organized.


The event was aimed at supporting Georgian-Ukrainian cooperation in tourism. Georgia plans to invite investors in its business, especially the leading tourism operators and companies of Odessa.
